2024 was an exciting year for me, with a lot of firsts. Looking forward to this coming year, I’m excited for some of the exciting prospects coming my way. Here’s a look at just a few of them:
New Webinars
I’ve partnered with the Pacific Northwest Writers Association to present several of my highly acclaimed creative writing courses as webinars on Wednesday nights over the next three months. Topics will cover the craft, business, and lifestyle of writing. My first session is this Wednesday—hope to see you there!
Practical Advice for Promoting Your Books
New Cons
Along with returning to my favorite shows from last year, I’m adding new events to my lineup! This includes the Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention in Tucson, Arizona (my first event in that state!) and WorldCon in Seattle.

It’s been a while since I’ve seriously focused on writing conferences, but this year, I’m diving back in! In June, I’ll be a featured faculty member at the Wyoming Writers Conference, and in September, I’ll be teaching a master class at the PNWA Writers Conference. Can’t wait!
