If things have seemed a bit quiet on my end lately, well… you’re not wrong. Between packed schedules and navigating some family medical concerns, finding dedicated time to write (let alone doing social updates) has been a real balancing act.
But things are getting better. I’ve managed to carve out some quiet, restorative time writing late at night, which has helped me to enjoy the process in a way I haven’t had for some time. It reminds me of when I used to stay up late at night writing when I was still in school. It’s a sort of pure, unadulterated joy in the crafting of a story without all the stresses of marketability or reader expectations. Of course, I still want to write good stories. But I believe that if I write stories that resonate with me, they will also resonate with my fans. It’s worked so far.
Speaking of which, I’m very happy to say that I’m in the final stages of my latest project, a collection of short stories all based in the world of Keltin Moore. Including at least one story focused on our favorite monster hunter, there will also be stories featuring other supporting characters from his previous adventures, as well as my first ever collaboration within this series. I’m very excited to share more details with you soon.
Finally, as I prepare for this next release, I’d like to reach out with a request for a small favor.
If you check out my books on Amazon, you’ll see that while I have great ratings, the number of reviews is surprisingly small. In fact, I often will sell more books in a single day at a vendor event than the total review count of my entire library on Amazon.
In today’s publishing world, reviews are the lifeblood that helps new readers discover Keltin’s world. If you’ve read any of my books, taking two minutes to leave even a brief, one-or-two-sentence honest review with a star rating on Amazon makes a massive difference. It provides lasting, real-world support for my dream, and it helps ensure I can keep bringing these stories to life. You can find all of my books at the following link:
Thank you all so much for being part of this journey with me. Happy Reading!
