I’m thrilled to announce this year’s fan art contest! Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to my stories, this is your chance to showcase your creativity and bring your favorite characters, scenes, and creatures to life for all of us to enjoy.
There will be a couple of changes this year from how previous contests have been organized. First, there are no categories for this year’s contest, so feel free to submit artwork based on anything that interests you from my stories. If you need inspiration, you can always check out what previous artists have submitted in years past.
Another exciting change ties in with my developing YouTube channel. If we receive enough artwork, I’ll create a YouTube video featuring all accepted submissions, sharing my honest reactions to each piece!
Finally, the contest winner, along with any honorable mentions, will receive a contract to add their piece to my line of postcards featuring artwork based on my stories.

- Submissions accepted: October 1 – November 30, 2025
- The contest winner and honorable mentions will be announced in the reaction video, as well as on my website soon after
Submission Process
- Please submit artwork as a JPEG, PNG, or PDF to lindsay(at)lindsayschopfer.com with the subject line: “2025 Fan Art Contest.”
- If your submission is not already digital, please scan it or take a well-lit, straight-on photo of your artwork.
- Include a title with your submission.
Additional Rules
- All entries must be the original work of the artist.
- Artists may submit as many pieces of art as they like.
- Submissions must be related to one or more of Lindsay’s stories to be considered.
- Artists under 18 must have permission from their legal guardian(s) before submitting.
- Works featuring erotic content, excessive gore, or vulgar/hurtful content will not be accepted.
- By submitting, the artist grants Lindsay Schopfer non-exclusive rights to display, distribute, and/or alter the submitted artwork for promotional purposes, including featuring it in a YouTube video.
- The contest winner and any honorable mentions will receive a contract offer that includes a single, modest flat fee per accepted piece, along with full credit for the artist.
