It’s been far too long since my last published title came out, so let’s remedy that! This summer, I’ll be releasing an anthology of every short story that I’ve written in the last ten years. This collection will include stories that were previously only available in isolated anthologies and my Fan Community. It will also contain all of the stories that were previously published in Magic, Mystery and Mirth and will even have a few stories that have never been seen anywhere else. All of those stories will add up to a novel-length title with a wide variety of fantasy, humor, and sci-fi subgenres. Hurray!
What About the Next Keltin Moore Book?!
With the announcement of my upcoming 2022 title, some fans may wonder about the status of Keltin Moore’s next adventure. Well, don’t worry. It’s still coming along nicely, but I wanted to release the anthology first for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted to give myself time to resolve some issues with the narrative that I felt needed extra attention; and second, I wanted to avoid the perception that Keltin Moore stories are all I have to offer my readers. I’ve got a variety of adventures and imaginings, and I don’t want to pigeonhole myself into just one series of stories, fun as they may be. Still, I am planning to continue to feed your need for beast hunting. Book Four will be coming out in the spring of 2023, and in the meantime, this summer’s anthology will include “Loss of a Legend”, which tells the tale of Jaylocke’s first attempt to take the lead in a beast hunt!
Fan Community Relaunch
There are some major updates coming for members of my Fan Community, and I’m super-excited for all of them:
A New Library of Stories – in addition to my Short Story Library, I’m going to create an Archive filled with deleted content from published stories, early unpublished works, and other goodies that you won’t find anywhere else!
Regular Online Parties for Fans – This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while. It’s still up in the air as far as what we’ll be doing during these events, but some ideas that I love are gaming together, sharing favorite stories, and watching videos/movies together.
A Signed Copy of One of My Books Every Three Months – Whether you’re filling out your library or want a perfect gift item, members of my Fan Community will soon have a steady flow of autographed books coming their way!
Video Essay Coming this April
It’s been a long time in the works, but thanks to the efforts of a fantastic video editor, fans will soon get to experience a completely new type of content from me. Entitled “How Start Trek: The Next Generation Uses Conflict in Storytelling”, this video will premiere during an online Fan Community party, after which it will be published on my YouTube channel for the rest of the world to see and enjoy.
What new update are you most excited to have heard about? Let me know in the comments below!
As always, a big shout-out to the fantastic members of my Fan Community:
Randall Hodgson, Matthew Paxman, Yoshiyuki Nishikawa, Wil Sisney, Jarred Walton, Joel Stanger, and Kelly Wilbur.
